Lagsmith runs on your Mac. It has no account and no analytics, and the network traffic it shows you never leaves your Mac.

This policy explains what ShabzCo LLC (“we”), based in California, United States, collects and why.

The app

  • No account, no analytics, no tracking. The app doesn’t send us usage data.
  • Your traffic stays on your Mac. Requests, connections, headers and bodies that Lagsmith shows, slows down or mocks are processed locally and are never sent to us.
  • Licence keys are checked offline. Activating Pro doesn’t contact our servers.
  • Price check. The app may download a small file from lagsmith.com with the current Pro price. Like any web request, this reaches our web server (see below), but it doesn’t include anything that identifies you.

If you connect an AI agent or other tool to Lagsmith, what that tool does with the information it reads is governed by its own privacy policy.

Buying Lagsmith Pro

Purchases are handled by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and tax information under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card details.

Paddle shares with us your name, email address, country, and order details (what you bought, when, and the amount). We use them to:

  • create your licence key and email it to you,
  • send your key again if you lose it,
  • handle refunds and answer support requests,
  • meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We send licence emails through an email delivery provider, which processes your email address only to deliver them. We don’t send marketing emails unless you ask for them, and we never sell your information.

This website

Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, the page requested, date and time, browser and referring page) to keep the site secure and working. Logs are kept for no more than 30 days. The website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The thank-you page shows your licence key from the link you’re given; the key isn’t sent to our server when you open it.

Support emails

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you and refer back to it later.

How long we keep information

We keep order and licence information for as long as your licence exists and as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 7 years. You can ask us to delete other information at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK and California, you have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to object to how we use it. Email us to make a request; we will reply within 30 days. We don’t sell or share personal information for advertising. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date. If Lagsmith ever adds anything that sends data from the app, we will say so here before it ships.
