# Troubleshooting

## I missed the network extension prompt

Open System Settings › Privacy & Security and look for a message about Lagsmith’s extension, then click Allow. On newer versions of macOS, also check System Settings › General › Login Items & Extensions. Then quit and reopen Lagsmith.

## The app isn’t slowing down

- Check the network extension is allowed (above).
- Conditions apply to new connections. Restart the app, or relaunch it from Lagsmith.
- If you use a host rule, check the app’s requests go to a host the rule covers.

## Everything is slow, not just one app

Check that Apple’s Network Link Conditioner is switched off in System Settings. It slows down the whole Mac.

## I don’t see a simulator app’s requests, or Airplane Mode doesn’t change NWPathMonitor

Relaunch the app with request monitoring from Lagsmith.

## Still stuck?

Email [support@lagsmith.com](mailto:support@lagsmith.com) with your macOS and Lagsmith versions.
